Free Parking for Vets

Good work Calgary.

Don't have a link or particulars, but vets in calgary get a certain amount of free parking.

I will have to get my vet plate for the next time I head down.

Heard this on the radio this morning, I think it is a good gesture. The stats for Calgary were that there are approximately 6000 veterans plates registered, but only about 200 already signed up on the Park Plus system. They need to be registered with that to get the free parking, I think it was 10 hours worth a month.

Edit: I see from the Sun article it is $10 free a month, not 10 hours.

oh free parking for those vets, i support that........although being able to handle an irrated cat is a very important skill; however, those guys should ahve to pay for parking.
