Does Morale affect OV rating?

Some GMs say No , Some say Yes? Does it?

For example Martin St Louis is at 50 Morale and is 74 Overall
Parise is at 40 ( ish) moral and is ranked 73 Overall. Will Parise be a 74 when his morale is at 50 ?

Is a St. Louis for Parise trade in the works?

I've noticed some guys are 1ov higher or lower than at the start of season so I'd have to say yes. Although when I looked through one players each individual attribute they were the same.

Indeed morale does affect OV, that is why Grant had to be sure everyone's MO was at 50 for the off-season
