Starts a petition on his website to oppose letting transgendered men to use women's bathrooms. Haha is Harper on holidays? How is Anders dominating Canadian political news. This is great news for transgendered people. That can't get better support if Anders opposes it.
Rob Anders has posted a note on his website that says the bill would give transgendered men access to women's public washrooms. The Calgary MP is inviting Canadians to sign a petition urging MPs to vote against the bill. His website says it's the duty of the House of Commons to safeguard children from exposure to giving a man access to women's washrooms. The New Democrat MP behind the private members bill, Randall Garrison, says Anders' petition is based on "ignorance, misinformation, and fear." The Victoria MP issued a statement Thursday saying his bill would only amend the Canadian Human Rights Code and hate crime laws to protect the transgendered.
Who the heck even checks out other people's genitals in the bathroom? Those are the kinds of people that need to wear a dunce cap and be told "NO!" Children included.

I'm not sure the goal of a guy who wants to be a girl, is to pick up girls and check them out....
It could still be, but that shouldn't change anything. Gay people don't need to use separate washrooms, so why would 'interest in other peoples genitals' have any bearing?
Just looking at it from a logical perspective, there are 2 options:
You have a biological male that is transitioning to a female and presents herself as such. She walks into a woman's washroom and uses a stall.
You have a biological female that is transitioning to a male and presents himself as such. He walks into a men's washroom and will need to use a stall.
At no point in the history of me using a stall in a washroom, have I ever had access to look at anyone else's genitals (that wasn't in the stall with me, but that's an entirely different story). So unless I am using these washroom stalls wrong, what the hell is the concern?

I didn't see bathrooms as much of an issue as changing/locker rooms would be. There's alot more "open" genitals, and I could see that being more of an issue for people, since there are already unisex bathrooms that exist without everyone getting raped or spyed on.

I have not been to a gym that does not have some type of individual change area ie" privacy screen area or stall".
My question is what have they been doing up to this point in time for go boo and pee. I honestly believe Anders sits around and thinks of the most idiotic points and issues.

The only thing that will work is to have everybody in the riding purchase Conservative Party memberships and have them vote the next time there is a riding nomination vote.
As much as people claim they despise this guy, few seem to be serious about partaking in a process that is the only way to ensure he is no longer the representative of Calgary West.
This guy is an embarassment to not only the voters in his riding but to all Calgarians, Alberta in general, and Conservative voters across Canada.
Calgary West voters, please help us all out. Are you Calgary West residents not embarassed to have this guy as your elected rep? With this guy, its not even like there is positives to balance out all the bad.
Try convincing all the old folks who live here in Ander's riding to change their tune. Secretly half of them love these asinine statements by him and will let it slide. And the fact that he's a blue shirt makes it even more difficult to supplant him.
