In a deal that took a couple of days to hammer out, the Jackets and the Devils were finally able to reach a deal which sees fan favorite TJ Oshie return to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Heading over with Oshie is Kyle Okposo and Andrew Alberts. The deal breaks down as follows:
To Columbus:
TJ Oshie
Kyle Okposo
Andrew Alberts
To NJ:
David Krejci
Colin Wilson
Kurtis Foster

TJ Oshie was a big part of our playoff run last year and we are very excited to have him back in our organization. Oshie was the longest serving Blue Jacket before he was traded away in the off season but now that he is back we hope he can produce and stick around again. We really like the upside of Okposo as well and although it was difficult to give up Krejci and Wilson, we simply like Oshie and Okposo better.

Thanks Chris for the talks, they were painful at times but at the end of the deal we got a deal done when I really didn't think we would.
