Re: Mitt Romney, PBS
This comes to mind:

Edit: My main thought when posting this was that its not surprising that the political/corporate powers want to shut up guys like Bill Moyers.
PBS seems one of the last few places for real tv journalism.

What I meant to say was it's a free market economy, the market will sort everything out in the end. If these people are rich it's only cause they've worked harder than anyone else.

Another great diversion to keep americans from seeing the real problems.
Not that I agree with cutting PBS funding, but Sesame Street makes a boatload of cash. If PBS were to disappear they would continue to broadcast somewhere. What am I missing?

You don't see it? PBS is a huge source of documentaries, childrens programming, and all without being commercialized and branded.
Every nation needs this, unless you want to just let private business controll everything on TV

Ya. I get that. I was kinda thinking narrow minded and it's hard to feel bad for sesame street, which is pretty much a cash cow.
I haven't had tv for over 5 years. I forget what is even on most channels.

Had an idea!
Private business does control PBS. The funding from the federal government is next to nothing.
