JOB OVERVIEW
This position will be responsible for Voyageur Upgrader stationary equipment reliability and safety with the consistent application and compliance of Suncor's stationary equipment technical standards and industry standards, codes and local regulations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Be a part of Voyageur Upgrader Maintenance team; lead the group of static equipment specialists.
- Provide static equipment technical support to Voyageur Upgrader project with a focus on safe, reliable and efficient operation
- Provide expertise in static equipment strategy, maintenance task lists, spare parts, and maintenance procedure development
- Ensure consistent application and compliance of Suncor's technical standards, Industry standards, codes, and local regulations
- Develop and maintain documented business processes which support a best in class equipment availability and cost performance.
- Support the development of maintenance training programs
- Support trouble shooting and equipment failure root cause investigations
- Provide active leadership with respect to our Safety journey to Zero within personal safety and process safety
- Work collaboratively with the CFT and other peers to ensure that operational risk is effectively determined and minimized.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience- Degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years maintenance or reliability experience with static equipment
- P.Eng or eligibility for registration with APEGGA, or other combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Demonstrated experience within a refining, upgrading, or a petrochemical environment would be an asset
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and execute with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal/negotiation skills with strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills are required for this position
- Be a leader with the ability to deliver on aggressive timelines
