Default Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

Has anyone heard about this game?

"Artemis is a multiplayer, multi-computer networked game for Windows computers.

Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the "main screen", while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control."

It is a nerds wet dream!

There are a few you tube videos that are cool.

Reminds me a bit of going a little too realistic like Moonbase Alpha, but without the text-to-voice fun.

I was late to the Moonbase Alpha meme, but I actually really liked the game. The only problem was there wasn't much to it. I found myself wishing they'd expand it into a whole game. The day after I first played it, they randomly announced that they were adding content for the first time, although I haven't tried the new stuff yet.

The Spaceship Bridge Simulator is a bit much for me though. I'd rather see USS Iowa Bridge Simulator I think.

I've been playing Faster Than Light. It just came out and it's pretty addictive, albeit with a bit of a steep learning curve.

Another cool indie game is Kerbal Space Program. It lets you design and launch your own rockets. It can be pretty tough as well.
