Default Washington make two moves today

Deal 1:

To Washington :

Marty Reasoner
Jacob Trouba
Matt Puempel

To St. Louis

Tomas Plekanec
3rd 2013 or 2014 (conditional).
1.7 M

--- > We were prepared to go into the season with Plekanec, but i couldnt pass up the chance to bring in Trouba.

Deal 2:

To Washington:

Tyler Ennis
Jordan Caron
Mark McNiell
Rasmus Bengtsson
Connor Knapp

To Dallas

Carl Hagelin
Eric Gudbrandson
Charlie Coyle

--- > We really did not want to move Coyle, but to be able to add Ennis to the fold we made this move. With Trouba coming in, Gudbrandson become expendable. Time is going to tell how good Caron, McNiell, Bengtsson or Knapp become. WE think Ennis is a top line Center, who is only going to get better.

Thanks To Rob and Ryan for the talks.

Blues are happy to add a 68ov forward under 30. He's the perfect type of player we were looking for on the 2nd line and should fit in well with Elias and whoever else will be there by the start of the season.

While we are less happy to give up Trouba. We think he's a couple years away from making an impact in the NHL and thus 3-4 years from the CPHL. Going to be a great defender nonetheless.

Blues are likely still going to be busy on the trade front as it has become quite apparent they are looking for 2nd line upgrades all around.

Thanks to Hesla for the quick and efficient talks!

Ennis got a surprising amount of interest over the past couple weeks. Came close to dealing him on a couple occasions but it was the caps that came through with just he right offer. I've been chasing coyle around the league for the better Part of a year so I'm pretty happy to finally snag him. Gudbranson is probably at an all-time low for value and I think he can be a solid 2-3 defender. Hoping this is a case of buy low. Hagelin will likley see a reduced role in NY but I like his game for what it is all the same.

Didn't send anything of quality to Aaron, so that's also a bonus
