Blues Add Estrogen

The Blues have gone against the GM's own words and added another top line player. This time he's a she, but she'll be the best player the Blues have this season.

The Blues are somewhat excited to announce the acquisition of Daniel Sedin. "I'm not a fan of Sedin personally," Said GM RT, "but I have to admit he's a damn good hockey player."

The trade means Plekanec's stay here was short lived, less than 12 hours, and obviously that's not all it cost the Blues.

Easy win for STL. They get the better player and get value for a pending UFA that likely won't be worth a grid deal next season. Unless the Ducks tank and that 1st is stellar, I think this will pan out as a bust for NJ in a year.

I expected better return for the devils. That said, it's a sedin so maybe it's addition through subtraction.
