Devils get a Hall pass

The Ducks and Devils have hammered out a deal that was in discussion on and off for weeks.

The Ducks ship out Taylor Hall and a 3rd round pick, while the Devils Gabriel Landeskog and Theo Peckham are going to the Disneyland.

The Devils are pleased to add Halls skill set and hope his injuries are a thing of the past. GM Gushue believes that Hall can can become a future elite CPHL star for the Devils.

I think Hall can be the best player here by a fair margin. Key word being "CAN". That is IF he can stay healthy and by the way he plays, I'm not sure that's possible. Landeskog, IMO, is less talented but an amazing leader. If all goes well, should be a pretty even trade if not in NJ's favor.

Ducks are thrilled to bring in Landy. He is the face of the future for this franchise, can learn the ropes from Iginla and then maybe take over the C one day. Thanks to the Devils for the fun negotiations back and forth for the past couple weeks. This deal almost exploded into a blockbuster but in the end the smaller 2 for 2 worked out quite well.

Peckham is available for an equivalent forward
