Default RIP Peter Lougheed

Likely will be viewed by history as the best premier in any province at any time. Amazing gentleman, pure class.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/...rticle4536134/

Hoping he pulls through.

he is an incredible person. i had the pleasure of serving him and his wife dinner when i worked at the lodge at kananaskis. they both enjoyed the service so much, they hand wrote a thank you letter to me on his personal stationary. very thoughtful people.

Here is an average tip, and a letter.

Sad news, Mr. Lougheed passed away this afternoon, surrounded by his family. A great Canadian, and a champion of Alberta.

rip.

CBC's rush to post was a little pointless: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...erta-dies.html

How on earth did they not have a pre-written obituary?

So very glad I got to talk to him last year. Truly a great Canadian.
