shooting in Dover
woman murdered across the street from my house...
The Calgary Police Service is investigating after a woman’s body was found in Dover.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. this morning, Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, emergency crews responded to the 0-100 block of Dover Meadow Close S.E. after 911 callers reported possible gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a deceased female.

If this is fob and fobk related then Calgary should be prepared for another deadly wave of violence between the groups. If they can kill each other without hurting innocent lives then I'll welcome another gang war between them.

I'm not sure how anyone could possibly want another gang war on Calgary streets. That last one was one of the worst things to happen to this city in a long time. High murder rates, bad publicity for the city, fear for regular citizens. Like there was nothing redeeming about that at all.

Gang members killing each other off is a good thing in my books. Maybe they can rent out the Max Bell center for these guys and give them all the guns they need.

Late one night, my buddy asked who wants to go to 'Sev' and a few of us jumped into his VW, I was in the back seat. He pulled into a parking spot, and three armed fob/fobk walked up to the side of the car to kill/rob/maim us. We were not who they were after, and we were 'allowed' to drive away.
The point is that their violence impacts many of us in different ways. Businesses lose customers simply due to their violence, civilians get injured or killed, etc. There needs to be serious punishment for these guys.

Yes. Because the Gang Wars breed only murders in the city. Increases in drug trafficking, prostitution, etc are not even a concern...

Gang violence is so stupid it's not even worth cracking jokes about. My friends have been victims of gang related incidents. That's why you never visit the west side of the city after sundown if you have no business being there.
The best way to avoid being a victim is to avoid gang members completely.

i can see the police tape from my deck, the alley is still blocked off by the cops. body was removed at about 430.
