I thought Snake was close to dying and was pretty much falling apart after, I don't know, getting cooked with a microwave in the last game. How is he still running missions at his age and his health? Did I miss something since MGS4?

Wasn't there Big Boss and Solid Snake, I thought there was 2 for some reason. I honestly don't remember if they were separate people but I think there was 2 snakes.

Speculation is that this is Big Boss aka Naked Snake.

Yea one is the clone of the other. It's why Solid Snake looks the same during the cold war as Big Boss in the past IIRC. These Japanese storylines get a little convoluted sometimes.

Knowing Kojima he will invent some random cure for Snake where he will live. Some shots he looks young some he looks old but i suppose that could just be camo.

^ Probably why it needed to stay on Playstation... Xbox folks will have no idea what is going on. Hell I barely do and I've played all the games.

The character in Ground Zeroes is Big Boss, post-MGS3 when he has his eye-patch. During the MGS3 Snake Eater mission and for much onwards he was called 'Naked Snake', which is why they still call him Snake in the trailer.

There were actually three clones of Big Boss - Solid Snake (the protagonist of MGS1, 2, and 4), Liquid Snake (the antagonist of MGS1 and 4), and Solidus Snake, who was sort of a bad guy in 2 and got relegated to being a twisty plot point in 4.

My PS3 exists only to play the GTA releases, Gran Turismo releases and MGS releases.

I haven't put a game in the thing in nearly 2 years. I'll definitely fire up again whenever this comes out.
