Friday History Quiz: Yo Mama Edition
I realized that the names of most of the mothers of famous historical figures, when seen in isolation, would likely not register to most people. To demonstrate, I cobbled together a list of these below.
Each of these women, shown here under their maiden names, was the mother of a famous figure from American or world history, in one of a variety of fields. Can you guess who?
Rules are straightforward: 1 point for each correct guess, no consecutive responses. No research on the internet! I will try to refrain from falling asleep or passing out to keep the scoring and status up to date. Have at it. 1. Aurelia Cotta (Lulius Caeser, Hatter)
