Transferring VHS to DVD

Just wondering if anyone out there knows of a good place to transfer VHS to DVD. My wife and I just watched the video from our wedding 5 years ago on VHS, and we both thought that it would be great to transfer it onto DVD. I would actually like the company/person to enhance (as much as possible) the video and audio.

Any recomendations and estimates?

I need to find an easy way out of doing some work

You may wanna contact CP member JBR.......Back in January, .He requested a couple of games on tape from last years playoff run(Gm7 vs VAn, Gm6 vs. DET, and GM6 vs SJ)....... and said that he would send the tapes back along with copies of the games on DVD.....So i sent them from van to his place and after a while, I PM'd him and no response.....a couple of weeks later.....no repsonse..........6 Pm's and three emails with zero responses later......I will never try to help someone out with something like that again......Those were my tapes that I loved watchin and now, Im oout.......to say im bitter would be an understatement......


JBR.....if you read this.....i know you have been on lately......please man.....send them back or at least let me know whats goin on.....be fair man.....i dont care about the money i paid to ship the tapes, I just want them back.....you dont have to send the DVD's back....just the tapes.....thats all I want



To answer this thread..........sorry man...i dunno....i just saw this thread and immeadiately thought of my tapes

Oh yeah Eagle Eye: PM browna, he did the 89 Cup Game 6 on DVD for a bunch of us last year so he'll know what company does that I think.

Does your video card have capture? Most do these days. If it does, you can do it yourself. There are a ton of programs out there (alot of them free) that will make it real easy for you.
