7-11. At least the one in my neighbourhood carries bags of firewood.

Go to Burnco and by it it in bulk...

If you have room to store it, just drop by any house you happen to drive past that is having a tree cut down. Usually they are happy to let you take the pieces. Haven't paid for firewood in probably ten years that way. Although you do have to chop them down to size to use in a fire pit.

Bump time.
Normally I get my firewood by cutting old warped 2x4s that I pick up, but this past trip has used up my stock and I don't have time to get more before my next trip.
Anyone know of any shops that give away old scraps? The couple I know of were out when I checked. I know I could go grab unsplit logs from Kijiji for free, but I would like to avoid needing to split it.
Baring free options, where is the best place to buy firewood? What should I be expecting to pay per bag?

For a recent trip, I raided a construction site after contacting the contractor for permission. Grabbed a ton of scrap wood for free.

I have a free firewood bin outside my work thats usually stocked every day. Come late morning its usually full of dunage and broken pallets. We keep it right by the exit to our yard tough to miss.
