Opt out of the Yellow Pages
Hey guys,
I saw a tweet by everyone's favourite Mayor, and didn't know I could do this. So, I thought I'd share it here, as I'm sure there are a TON of people, like me, who hate the waste of getting a paper version of the yellow pages every year.

I was all for this until I saw that giving them my phone number and email address is mandatory. F that. The only information they should need to stop sending me their worthless paperweight is my mailing address.

Yeah, I thought of that too, and it does seem kind of sketcy, especially considering it's exactly the kind of company that would pay a lot of money for that kind of information. But they already have my phone number and address, so I figured what difference does it make if I also give them the email address I only use for useless stuff like this.

yeah that does seem to be unnecessary, maybe trying to get info on us and sell to make up for the loss in advertising

With just this one tweet he prob did more for Calgarians than Bronco did in his 8 years in office!

To be honest if the things ever come out about what I have heard that Bronco did while in office he will be enemy # 1 by the people of Calgary

Is that why the new west line instead of taking a left off 17th to goto signal hill is going straight up 17th to no where?
