JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager of Reliability the Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible to provide day-to-day reliability support to a production area cross functional team with a focus on safe, reliable and efficient operation
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Working with the equipment specialists to develop, monitor and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs
- Leading and/or participating in incident root cause failure investigations and problem solving sessions
- Troubleshooting process issues and analyzing trends in equipment performance to ensure integrity
- Leading the development of asset reliability work scopes
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs
- Developing recommendations for systemic asset reliability issues and stewarding implementation of the improvements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Professional engineering designation with APEGA or equivalent is preferred
- More than 5 years of industry experience preferably in the field of oil and gas
Skills and Knowledge:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, self starter who can work well independently or within a team environment
- Strong computer skills, particularly in excel and other Microsoft office applications
