Backup I guess....
On the block
prospects, I have a ton of forwards on my AHL team, that while they might be later round picks or unsigned guys, they have performed at a higher level according to their respective teams (similar to how Gaudreau and Brossoit are regarded by Flames fans)

FYI - after looking at my lineup I'm adjusting two of my players who I think are rated too highly.
Jamie McGinn - from 64 to 62 (only one proven season)
Luca Sbisa - from 64 to 62
If anyone sees any other rating problems with my players I would appreciate a PM.
Just to be clear - no one requested these players be lowered. When I originally did the ratings I forgot to re-set the MO across the board - these guys all increased when I fix the MO and now seem out of line.

Gaborik (75) - Koivu (72) - Selanne (71)
Kessel (74) - Weiss (68) - Hemsky (65)
Thompson (60) - Boyle (63) - Raymond (64)

M.Staal (70) - Timmonen (72)
Methot (60) - Harrison (63)
Petry (62) - ?
Halak (83)
Johnson (72)
Selanne and Timmonen are both UFA's and though undecided I dont think I will be signing Timmonen.
Wings need a lot of stuff.
A top 6 forward
Better rated d-men
3rd - 4th line forwards
A better backup.

Nashville has a few holes to fill, but overall its not terrible:
Cammalleri (67) - Vermette (66) - Burrows (68)
Horcoff (65) - Umberger (67) - Dvorak (62)
Santorelli (61) - Steckel (61) - Frolik (62)
Butler (59) - Fraser (59) - Crombeen (58)
Regehr (68) - Robidas (69)
Michalek (67) - Hunwick (58)
Lundin (57) - Wishart (55)
Kipper (84)
Bishop (70)
Strengths:
- Decent top six, assuming I find room for Umberger
- Good top three dmen
- Kipper!
Weaknesses:
- Need more depth on defence
- Without Umberger I need another top six forward
On the block:
The Preds would love a deal where we send someone like Regehr, Robidas or Michalek and get a depth defenceman and a good forward. We're unlikely to trade Kipper unless a bonafide starter comes back.

Goalie:

Based on our cap calculations we will have around 3 million in cap space. We need 3 depth players with this money. TJ Brodie might be called up but he'll remain in the AHL for now. We will target some depth guys in the UFA season but will most likely trade some youth to bring in some high rated guys to fill out our roster (and get cap in the deals as well).

Lindback (73)
- due to our goalie depth, we would like to flip a starter (Smith or Niemi) for a top pairing dman. I won't compromise on this deal because the blueline is very weak. Lindback is sticking around because he's very cap friendly.
Obviously there's a lot of work to be done by the end of the summer. I'll be a little more useful as a GM when I return from London.
