Default Tony Sly passes away

Probably not as big of a name as other people who have warranted their own thread, but No Use for a Name were such a huge part of my life growing up. I saw them many times in Calgary. RIP.

Read about this, this morning.

One of my favourite singers, very sad. I remember getting leche con carne by no use for a name in grade 8 and every album following that. Saw no use for a name 5 or 6 times over theyears and caught Tony on his solo tour last year at the distillery. Seemed like a real nice guy the couple times I met him.

Really glad i saw no use in Las Vegas at the end of May..

His solo stuff is great too been listening to his new split with Joey Cape a lot recently, liver let die is such a good song.

Lame.

Listened to a crapload of No Use back in the day...still in heavy rotation on my iPhone.

So young. Very sad.
