Lost dog in Cougar Ridge
Hey all,
I've seen this work a few times before. Just found this cute little girl wandering around on my street in Cougar Ridge.
Obviously I'm hoping someone will recognize her, but as I realize that is pretty unlikely maybe I'll just get some good ideas on what to do next.
Now off to try to get some better pictures.
Thanks!

Call 311 and if she has tags on her they'll be able to find the owner. If she doesn't then sadly I'd guess it'll be to the shelter.

No tags, no ear tattoo, nothing that I can see. She's old - seems to have pretty bad warts.
311 is an option for later. Out now to see if walking her around the 'hood yields results.
Thanks for the reply Clay

Hopefully you can find the owner. Never like seeing that.

I'd probably make a bunch of "DOG FOUND" posters and tape them around the neighborhood. I'd probably want someone to bring photo evidence of the dog to prove ownership, or maybe don't describe it and if people call ask them to describe the dog and if they are able to do so, they get it back.
Also, you could try contacting the city and ask if you can have the dog posted to the found dog shelter page without actually surrendering it. I know that when my girlfriend's dog took off in nose hill, even though it had tags and all that we still immediately open that page on the phone to refresh like mad just in case. Luckily hers had tags and a nice person called the city to come pick it up and deliver it to her.

Success!!!
About 30 houses down was her owner. Seemed quite relieved tag his wife wouldn't end up killing him.
Thanks for the views replies.
