Should be a fun series to watch. I am interested in seeing the Brewers 2nd baseman Weeks play. The score is reporting VW will not play in the series, I think he went home for the birth of his baby.

I really have very little interest in Baseball, I have a Red Sox cap only because I lost a bet on the World Series... but GO BREWERS! (how can you not cheer for the maligned boys from Milwaukee??)

Actually, there is one very good reason to cheer against the Brewers: Selig used to own them.

Yeah I believe they just finalized the sale on that thing a little while ago too.

How much did it sell for? I mean if I wanted to buy a bottom of the barrel MLB franchise, what am I gonna pay?

The Brewers are actually half decent this year but it doesn't seem as though they are going to make the play-offs again. Despite the fact that Bud owned them I always felt bad for them and others that seemed to never have a chance to make the play-offs.

I got a question, anyone know what happend to Pat Tabler?
Never knew how much I liked him in the booth till SportsNet and TSN replaced him with some pretty hideous ex-players.

I fairly sure that I have heard Tabler this year on Sportsnet. Almost certain I heard him during the Cardinals series.

yeah, Tabler was the color commentator during the Cardinals series. He's been there for some of them, just not as many as last year.

They've had Fletcher, Candiotti, and Mullinicks too. I prefer Candiotti as the commentator for some reason.

First game was great, I am amazed by Hill. This guy just keeps on hitting....

I haven't liked the Brewers since they moved and their mascot stopped sliding into a mug of beer when ever they hit a home runs. Sure he goes down a slide now, but i remember a series in the early 90's against the Jays when it was below zero, the Brewers hit a home run and the poor Mascot to a slide into what had to be the coldest beer ever.
