Parking Rate Increases - Downtown

I just got a letter from my parking provider downtown saying my monthly rate will be going up in September. I've only had this spot for about 14 months and the monthly rate before taxes has gone up 67%. My god.

I work downtown, but I also need a vehicle for work. Is this insane increase par for the course with other people downtown?
