Student Dies After Staying up and Watching 11 Straight Nights of Soccer!
I think i would be dead after 4 nights... zzzzzzzz
Like seriously how can someone not fall asleep watching soccer at 3am? mind bottling.
http://www.calgaryherald.com/sports/...575/story.html
The 26 year-old, from Changsha in southern China, was found dead by his mother after Ireland’s 2-0 defeat by Italy on Monday, reported Hunan province’s Sanxiang Metropolis newspaper.
Most of the Euro 2012 matches start at 2:45 a.m. in China due to the time difference, and finish at daybreak.
Using a false name to protect the identity of the victim’s family, the newspaper said Jiang Xiaoshan had been a member of his university’s football team and had good health before the tournament, which is co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine, kicked off on June 8.

On the main page the preview said "Student dies after Staying up and..."
I immediately though Saskflamesfan96 had expired from math.

Even more mind bottling is the fact that the newspaper used a different name to try to protect his identity. In China.

There's probably more to the story. Maybe he was dump-facing a flat of Chinese Red Bull or something.

Probably would have happened to me had I not decided to go get 2 hours of sleep at 5:30 am

I call BS on this story. There are only 2 games per day that last about 2 hours each. So he watched non stop replays the entire time?

In 1964—as a 17-year-old high school student in San Diego, California—Gardner stayed awake for 264 hours (eleven days), breaking the previous record of 260 hours held by Tom Rounds of Honolulu.[1]

So this guy managed to not only tie the world record, but did it by drinking and smoking as the article stated? Unless he was smoking meth there's no way in hell someone stays awake that long.

Seems prettys straight forward to me.
So let's say he works 9-5pm.
Stays up until 245, watches the games until sunrise or about 7am, gets ready for work, goes to work, comes home, waits for games to start. Rinse and repeat until he's dead.

Why wouldn't he sleep from 6pm to 2AM or something? Hell, even 10 PM to 2 AM would be enough to keep a guy half functional, and also, not dead.

The only reason this made news coming out of China is because it wasn't video games.

In theo fleury's book he talks of going on a booze and coke bender for an entire Tampere without sleeping.

What does Mind-Bottling mean?
Is it a new CP thing? It's on this page twice already.
