Sponsoring A Child Questions

Does anyone currently do this? What organization do you use? What ones would you recommend?

I'm looking at sponsoring a child or two somewhere they really need the help however I want to make sure most of the money is sent to the child not the organization running it. I would also be nice if it was a non-religious group although that is not a must, just a personal choice.

My kids need sponsoring. They would like to help 2 Latino kids find a new home who are constantly wandering around in the apparent wilderness with no adult supervision. Their names are Dora and Deigo, but occasionally their cousin Alecia comes along as well.
