Alexander Keith's
I recently moved out of Canada have a craving for Alexander Keith's. I live in Houston and can't seem to find any of it down here. Anyone live down here that has seen it sold anywhere? Alternatively is there any way to ship some of it down here?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Switch to Fat Tire or Shiner Bock.

Shiner bock and Abita amber is all I drink down here, but IMO nothing beats Keith's. Hopefully at some point they start selling it down here or else I will be bringing it by the 12 pack each time I visit Calgary.

America has a lot of great IPA's, which Keith claims to be.
Try the Stone IPA out of Stone Brewing from California, or damn near anything brewed in Oregon ( http://www.rogue.com/).

There's a place in Midtown called Little Woodrow's that serves Moose Head, and may have also served Keiths (I can't remember for sure).

Except Keith's isn't an IPA and the OP might not like a beer that actually has flavour.

The Maple Leaf Pub on Elgin may have it? I switch to Shiner Bock mode when I'm down there though.

I know this is a long shot but if you know any Canadian Military guys stationed close to where you are give them a try. I know the Canadian Air Force guys always have a ice chest full of Kokanee at their hockey games here. I finally broke down and asked them where they get it from and they told me they got it on base at the Canadian Commissary ( or something to that extent). Said only the Canadian Military guys can buy it and they had all sorts of Canadian beer and other products there.

Come on, heavily hopped/bitter IPAs are an acquired taste for sure, and Keith's is no where near that taste. So suggesting the OP go try a "real" IPA instead isn't helpful, it's just snobbish. The guy's trying to get a little taste of home and you're playing beer hipster.
Drink what you enjoy, and let others do the same, but don't force your own elitist taste into every conversation about beer.

Honestly I was shocked when I heard that Keiths is an IPA. It doesn't taste like one at all. It's not bad though.

It isn't an IPA at all. They just call it that based on tradition or whatever.

I'm thinking the OP is also longing for the memories elicited from the drinking a keiths in a pub laughing with friends et al.
I'm sure others prefer sharing a single 330 mL trappist ale to get a bit tipsy so they can discuss the caramel undertones and splooge in each other's faces.
To each their own.

I believe Granville Island Brewery has plans for a summer sploogeweizen, apparently a light coloured brew with slightly salty undertones

I once drank two Coors Light's that I found in a golf bag that was in a tool shed for 2 years. I still question the need to seek out Keiths.
Never the less, I'm sure you could find someone on here to do a beer tradesy.
