I have a friend who dabbles in photography and wants to do a couple of vehicle photo shoots this Friday. Hoping to find some suggestions on where to go. Two big must haves would be few people nearby, and some decent/interesting scenery.
As far as out of town, I know Barrier Lake has some good spots. I was also thinking Elbow Falls. I haven't been out there in a while but I remember the parking lot not being in the view of the falls.
Parking lot isn't anywhere close to the falls from what I remember, but there should be quite a few nice areas on or near the highway going out there. I think you will either want to do first thing in the morning or right before sunset.
The last hour or so of daylight is the softest.
Badlands would be pretty sick too, a bit of a drive though.

SAIT parkade is pretty cool too, my wife has done a few photoshoots there and it looks pretty sweet! If you go on a weekend should be able to find lots of empty stalls methinks.
