FS: moose antlers - trophy mount

Father passed away a little over 3 years ago and willed me his trophies and guns. I'm selling these to help my mother out. She had a mental break down soon after my father passed and we are working at getting her into a proper care facility.

Had to check through fish and wildlife and was told we can legally sell these as they were willed to us in a set period of time. Going to be putting a couple up for sale.

This set of moose antlers is in very good condition and has been in our family for some time. It's not my personal thing and I can't see myself keeping them so helping my mother out financially is the best course of action.

They are fairly huge. 36" from top to bottom, 48" across. 21 points in total and they weight a fair bit. I've tried searching prices online and they are all over the place.

I'm putting this up at $800 OBO. Please make reasonable offers. I already know what a company in Montana will pay me for them but I would honestly prefer somebody local that will want to have them on display. Please pm me.

Note: you may need to check with fish and game to ensure you can legally sell this item. We had this issue when my grandpa passed away.

Oh we already did and it's ok. You need to make sure they were legally obtained, properly mounted by a registered taxidermist and need to wait a period of time after the person has passed away.

It's definitely very complicated but makes a lot of sense as to why.
