Well I talked a lot of smack and backed it up with a 4-1 series win. That first loss scared the crap out of me and the team but they rebounded nicely.

Thanks Mr. Turd for being a good sport, now that our series is over I can say I expected this to be closer but it wasn't easy. I had 2 wins in OT and 1 win against a backup goalie.

We have a philosophy in Columbus we have been working with since Miller came in and it has been working and we hope it can continue to the next round.

Thanks TurdFerguson and congrats on a good CPHL season.

Langenbrunner scores in OT and the series is back to Calgary down 3-2!
Dont count us out just yet.

3 Stars

1 - Jamie Langenbrunner (CGY)
2 - Teemu Selanne (DET)
3 - Tim Thomas (CGY)

Power Play

Calgary Flames - 0 on 1 Attempt(s) - 0.00%
Detroit Red Wings - 0 on 0 Attempt(s) - 0.00%

Goon Notes

Kevin Porter is injured at 1:08 of 1st period (Torn Left Knee Ligaments)
Enver Lisin is injured at 16:16 of 1st period (Abdomen/Ribs)

Called up two more from the farm....glad my AHL team is still playing!

I think the key to success in this series is getting less SOG then the other team! Game 6 in Anaheim now!

Important win for Montreal to take the series lead, heading home for game 6. Rinne stepped up big, and the Moulson/Marleau tandem continues to click after replacing the injured Stafford with Patrick Sharp, who finally notched his first point in the series.

Going to have to file a complaint with the head office.
Flames are benefiting from some biased refs. Like 2 power plays in 5 games?
Ran in to a hot Tim Thomas today.

Ugghhh.

Ran into a hot goaltender in Rinne. Need to get the offense going somehow or it is out in 6.

Islanders were just over 2 minutes from hitting the golf course when Belanger scored the tying goal and then Moore 12 minutes into OT to finally get our first home win. Gotta win next game to have a game 7 back at home.
