Ducks make series of deals

In a series of trades the Flames would like to welcome Jordan Eberle to the organization!



After weeks of shopping the 1st overall pick the Ducks were finally able to find a trade that made sense. In a series of trades the Ducks have managed to acquire Jordan Eberle and CHI 1st 2013. Here is how the 2 trades break down.

To ANA:
Erik Karlsson
Chi 1st 2013

To CHI:
1st overall
20th overall
PHI 3rd 2013

To ANA:
Jordan Eberle

To PIT:
Erik Karlsson

Ultimately we moved 1st overall, 20th overall and a 3rd round pick for Jordan Eberle and CHI 1st 2013. We always love gambling on 2013 picks because you never know if they will be top 10 or not given the sim we use. Eberle is obviously more proven then Yakupov and we really like his overall game. He is a great Canadian kid (playing on a crappy NHL franchise) who we think is going to be an absolute stud and one of the top players on Team Canada at the next Olympics.

The Wild originally drafted Jordan Eberle but traded him to Philly for Colton Teubert.
