Default No sleep for 3 days

So.. had a big night out on Saturday. Slept in till about 1pm on Sunday (was hungover). Been awake ever since. It's now Wednesday morning here in Singapore. I've tried sleeping pills, and health store melatonin. Nothing helps. I don't even feel drowsy. Just this strange alert state in which I can't sleep. I stayed home from work on Tuesday and spent the entire day trying to sleep, no luck.

Anyone ever gone through anything like this? Any suggestions? My plan is to finish work today and down another two sleeping pills and hope for the best. If that doesn't work I'm thinking it's time to goto the doctor. The soonest I may be able to attempt sleep again is in about 10 hours when my work day ends..

Try exercising, that might help.

@ Fotze

Not as far as I know. Maybe something was slipped into my drink because I did get smashed in like 1 hour (and usually my tolerance is terrific).

@ Robotic

Already having weird tingling sensations in my arms and legs so exercising is scary.

My record was 5 days. Had a project that took 3 months to finish magically erase itself, and it was due 5 days from deletion. That was not fun, slept for 34 hours straight after that.

I would go to a doctor if you haven't already.

This happened to me about 6 months ago, 3 days, not a wink. I got in the shower, sat in the stream, and fell asleep instantly. Woke up an hour later when the water went cold, and crawled in bed for 20 hours straight. I felt like garbage for about a week after, but I honestly felt like I was going to die when I hit the third day.

There's an app for that.....

http://www.hypnosisappstore.com/sleep_deeply.html

I've been using it a couple times in past week. Works well.
Only issue I've had is waking up with ear buds still in my ears.

I did eight days one time. Google the Uberman sleep schedule if you are curious. The summary: you sleep for twenty minutes every four hours. It actually worked. Around day five I started to do well on it. Took an insane amount of will power to get past day five. Problem was, there was no possible way to be a socialable or employable person while doing this.

Had the same thing happen to me a few months ago, Got ultra varked, and didn't sleep for three days after that. I felt so ####ty it was unreal, I ended up going to the clinic and explained I hadn't slept in three days. Gave me Trazadone and it seemed to work only had to take it one night.

I tend to have ####ty sleep and can't sleep in to save my life, but this was far worse by the third day for sure.
