Canuck fans vacationing in Toronto would be my guess.

And that's why I still love David Beckham. Pure talent and full of fight.

Way to make Canada look like #######s.
I'm sure that will leave a great impression.

He is worth over a billion dollars. He plays the sport because he has a passion for it. Give the guy some respect. and his wife is a smoke show.

I agree with you about giving him some respect, he's a good footballer and has played for a long time.
I don't agree with throwing stuff onto the field, I'm sure in his days playing for Manchester United, he's gotta be used to it.

I shook his hand when I saw him on the beach in LA a few years ago. He's full of class and grace from what I could tell. No idea why fans need to act like that. Looks bad on Canada.

It's not just Toronto it's Soccer, I've been to English Priemership games where Ziploc bags full of piss were flying over my head at a goalie.

Yep, maybe not to the same level every time, but he definitely gets his share of grief.

God of Hating Twitter
Soccer in many parts of the world is more like a war without weapons.
In soo many places like EU and Africa the 2 sides hate each other, not just over old rivalries in the sport, but usually over centuries of hatred between peoples, religions, governments, etc.. Even in the same country there are deep hatreds between peoples and each of those peoples have a soccer team, and these games are when they can get close to each other so its always tense filled and can blow over into violence.
I´m honestly surprised in many parts of the world that there isn't more violence.

Soccer is so boring that the fans have to look for other ways to entertain themselves at games.

I could care less about one fan in a crowd of 50 thousand plus through a beer can on the field. That's child's play to the things that have been thrown on the field during Football matches. It's incredible to see the passion for the game in Toronto and the downtown core after the game was something else.

Other than the beer can, all the streamers and stuff is awesome. I honestly don't know how anyone could complain.
Why make it easy for the opposition?
