Help out a fellow flames fan
Hey guys,
I have been lurking around CP for a while now, but never made an account. This is probably the lamest first post ever, but here goes nothing. My brother-in-law is a big flames fan, firefighter/paramedic, and a father of three young crazy boys. He recently bought some new glasses that were quite expensive due to his prescription. His optometrist set up a competition on facebook, whoever gets the most "likes" will win their purchase back. He is only 50 "likes" behind the person in the lead and the contest ends tonight at midnight.
If you could just take two seconds and "like" his picture you would be helping out a really great guy. The good karma could help the flames heal up quickly and get to the playoffs...  . Anyways that's all, thanks everyone.

Hmmm. Jury's still out on this one but I think you've got a chance.
The CP braintrust will review and present the decision by: a) crushing you by voting for the opponent and making many mocking posts or b) a bunch of posts that say voted.

If you truly have been reading CP for a while, my guess is you know how things work around here for new members that post these threads- because of this, my guess is you actually do want this to backlash on you and are in fact trying to sucker us into voting for the competition (cute blonde girl whom you in reality do represent)...
So, I'm going to outsmart you and actually vote for the guy in your link...take that sucker!

IMO, Jihad's should be reserved for those that contribute to the community, if this person gets votes, it would set a precedent that CP probably wouldn't want.

Hmmm, a random person asked me to like his brother in law.
Meanwhile, I see that a buddy of mine liked the picture of the blonde girl said brother in law is competing against.
I'm gonna go ahead and do nothing, because facebook is stupid!
Actuall, screw that, let's really mess with the contest and see if we can't get one of the "Cartoons of the week" a new pair of glasses!

hmmm, my actual vote was well thought out-
Warning: a quick scan of the blonde girl's husband's facebook page reveals they are diehard Canucks fans...
a quick scan of the OP's brother-in-laws facebook page shows that he is a member of dozens and dozens of facebook pages, but no Flames page.
Therefore, my vote goes to the dog, who will be making an appearance in the post-game gif celebration ceremony
