Default Bomb Threat Forces Plane To Land On Vancouver Island (Vancouver to Seoul)

Quote:
A Korean Air flight bound for Seoul from Vancouver International Airport with 134 passengers on board was intercepted by two U.S. Air Force fighter jets and forced to land in Comox Tuesday because of a bomb threat phoned to a U.S. call centre for the airline.

i thought i had heard on the news last night, that this was the second KAL plane in the last few days that had a threat made against it.

i was thinking that if you really wanted to disrupt airline travel and cost the airlines a lot of money, a person could start making a lot of these kinds of calls to airlines.

i was also thinking about how uncomfortable you would feel reboarding the plane.

It was the second threat in 3 days and both threats were on the exact same flight.

It's Kim Jong-un trolling. Don't sweat it.
