Sounds like they were not killed at least. One suspect dead apparently.

Not sure if this is a typo:

Sources say one suspect dead at the scene where two Mountie where killed. Another suspect on the run. #KillamMounties

I believe they likely mean shot, not killed.

Yeah Global Calgary reported at 6 that both mounties received non-life threatening injuries, allegedly one shot in the back, the other in the leg/shoulder. One suspect is dead and trying to locate the other.

Lougheed is near my hometown, I called the folks and they said RCMP vehicles (SUVs, SWAT, etc.) were racing by all day, even as late as 6:20pm.
I hope the officers fully recover from their injuries.

I have family in Killam as well. An uncle of mine had a funeral last week up there and apparently one of the mounties was at the service and the other one was off getting married. Scary, scary stuff... so glad it sounds like they are both ok.

Confirms one suspect is dead and they're currently looking for Sawyer Clarke ROBINSON, a 27 year old male. Allegedly he's driving a black, 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, with alberta plate UZE 245.
Call 911, don't approach, etc.

So does Don Cherry devote half of Coaches Corner to injured Police or just dead ones?
