Caring for Kids Radiothon on now

If any of you are listening to Q107 or Country 105 you have probably heard that the Alberta Children's Hospital Caring for Kids Radiothon is on today, tomorrow, and Friday.

My sister works for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, and this is their big fundraiser every year.

Why not make a donation (every bit counts) and show them that CP generosity and good nature that we all know and love!

Hello family and friends!

It's that time of year again... RADIOTHON!

Last year was amazing and thanks to some of you (slackers should be blushing right now) I was able to make my goal. I encourage those who gave last year to give again and those who forgot or couldn't last year to consider making a donation.


I have the benefit of seeing where this money goes and believe me - I wouldn't be asking you if I didn't 100% buy in to what we are supporting. Sorry to cliche out on you all, but every dollar really does make a difference. If you want to know what we fund just ask me and I'll be happy to tell you.

Some of you have recently participated in runs and walks and this is no different (except I don't have to do any actual exercise) and I would love it if you donated to my fund.

This is a no lose situation! You get to help the hospital, show off to all my cheap friends, get a tax receipt and I will most likely buy you a drink the next time I see you.

Figured I'd give this a bump. The Caring for Kids Radiothon started up again today on Country 105 and Q107 and runs through 'til Friday.

Never heard of this Radiothon, but I don't think I even own a radio.

Anyway, I made a donation last night. The Children's Hospital is a great thing, coming from one of those people who spend waaay too much time there as a kid.

I hope I never have to the new location for any reason, ever.

Does this Radiothon have a lottery where I can win a gigantor 10 bedroom house or sports car? I like to support causes that lure me in by appealing to my greedy need for material goods.
