Hey, just wanted to let everyone who still plays counter-strike source that we have a new server up and running. It's pretty brand new so we'd like to try and get people to play on it.

BLUCK is a Calgary based clan/community made by a bunch of friends since 2000. There are only a few of us left from the original CS 1.5 to 1.6 days but we are hoping to recruit more.

Server is based in Seattle so anybody on the west coast should have some pretty good latency.

Add us to your favorites and let your friend's friends know about us. Oh yes, we will most likely switch over to CS:GO when it comes out as well.

Yeah, I used to play CS:S a lot... not so much now since I moved out of my parents house come to think of it.

Used to be a lot of fun.

I believe it should be coming out this month. Possibly the 3rd or 4th week of February. Not too sure.

Yeah, I quit for a while too, I just recently got back into the game when I heard CS:GO was coming out. I am very rusty atm.. haha.

I see that you're using nfoservers. Awesome choice. I've used them for a while and they are seriously the best. A little on the expensive side, but the performance is just so good.

24/7 d2 / office?!? Y'all must be crazy...

It's good to populate the server, but don't you start to get bored of it?

If you rocked a good custom map rotation on the other hand I'd be all over it. Servers like AHP are always full for good reason....

I'm so tired of Office, Dust, Aztec, etc. There were some amazing custom maps that I have played over the years. Sadly, you don't see them anymore.

I was a big fan of cs_siege back in the day when the CTs could drive the APC into the garage. That was a fantastic map.

My buddy and I were thinking about doing all of the Custom favorite maps like both Dust Maps, Office, Aztec, Inferno and Italy. The Server is only about 3 days old right now so its a bit slow atm.

Any feedback on what maps y'all wanna play would be appreciated. Just let me know.

I still play CS - I normally binge every few months, and then I won't touch it for months. I'm still great at this game. I found a few good custom servers that blend classic maps with custom maps.

I miss as_oilrig. I remember playing that in Junior High, that map was great.

CS was and is a great game, spent a lot of time playing it.

Once in a blue moon I will log in and enjoy a good old Gun Game mod.

Good times. I will stop by the server sometime.

Wow...those map names are a SERIOUS blast from the past...crazy. Reminds me of my all time favourite....Prodigy.

Ya, rats was great! de_losttemple and de_cpl_mill are a couple decent newer ones that I can think of. cs_militia and cs_cs assault are two classics that are a little lopsided but still fun also. Plenty of great maps out there!

Still play CS:S in bunches here and there so next time I start playing again I will come check out the OP's server.

I miss oilrig also, I occasionally reload 1.6 so I can get my fix. Nothing beats capping a hostage who gets stuck on the way to the helicopter.
