I guess if it was a difference between playing on the tour next year or not, i might try to finish if I didn't have kids. Wow, crazy story, and crazy situation with his card on the line. Hope it turns out to be nothing, and he can finish out the tournament.
He played his final round and won the tourney today... sounds like he had a panic attack yesterday - thought that might be the case when I read the story and noted that he kept saying he thought he was going to die.

Final round is tomorrow Sunday the 11th. But he still goes into the final round with a 2 stroke lead. Shot 1 under on the day witch is pretty good for a guy that had 1 hour sleep in a hospital.
Location: A simple man leading a complicated life....
Exp:

He was about six hours from his tee time Saturday at Disney. Just 12 hours earlier, he was having a panic attack on the golf course so severe that he could barely breathe, his blood pressure spiked and his arms felt numb. After signing his card, he was strapped into a stretcher, loaded into an ambulance and taken to a hospital.

Beljan said a variety of tests showed nothing was wrong with him.
“Physically, everything is wonderful,” he said. “It’s that little space between those ears that I’ve got to work on.”
How is it even possible to shoot a 64 in that condition. Truly remarkable to be doing what he is doing at this tournament with his whole livelihood at stake and dealing with a debilitating panic attack.
I'm curious if golfers are allowed to take things like xanax or if that would be considered performance enhancing.
