Default Looking for Logic Puzzles

I am having a contest for an audience that has a varied ethnic background... for most english is a second language. So if I gave word puzzles, those that do have english as their first language would have the advantage, which I am trying to avoid.

So the puzzles I'm thinking of are things like sequence puzzles;
23, 45, 89, 177, __
1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 18, __
7, 5, 8, 4, 9, 3, __
1, 2, 6, 24, 120, __

Math puzzles:

Maze puzzles:
http://www.freeprintable.com/customi...t.html?id=2291

Or logic puzzles:
http://www.smart-kit.com/s813/balanc...icture-puzzle/

Any other ideas?

Thanks for any suggestions!

If your audience is primarily Oriental/Asian, then they will love the Math puzzles (obviously).

If it is a mixed, then the Maze will work. I think the Logic ones still involve some English comprehension and that maybe challenging for some.

I think the LSAT has a section of logic games.

My favourite is the old

you have 8 balls and 1 of them weighs slightly less than the other 7, and you need to determine which is the lighter one using a balance scale.

How do you do it only using the scale twice?

Mind Trap is a great game with these kinds of puzzles in it.

Thanks. I got a few from the mensa site. Still a lot of word-based ones, but I got a mini-sudoku and a couple math equation puzzles.

I know it's not what you're looking for, but the self-referential aptitude test is very well done.

Spoiler!

Tons of really good puzzles if you have access to any of the Professor Layton games.

Ever try Sokoban puzzles?
http://www.letslogic.com/

An alternative to Sudoku is Str8ts
http://www.str8ts.com/

How about a little sugar sugar?
http://www.addictinggames.com/puzzle...sugar-game.jsp

Some levels of this game are pretty tough, most are not too hard.
