Star Trek sucks

Me think someone protests to much.
But calculoso that seems to be the quality of most of Jordon's posts these days.
It is an interesting study though, I really have two theories which could be the reasoning behind the results of the study. The first one is that the pedophiles in effect hate themselves and they hate their lives and thus the world of Star Trek provides an opportunity for them to escape their otherwise painful lives, even as a temporary - or a stop gap measure. The other option that I think could exist is that pedophiles often times have reduced intelligence, and this could be one way in which the immaturity as a result of this deficiancy is exhibited. First off I'd like to say Star Trek sucks. That being said, I don't think this "lowered intelligence" stuff holds much water. Nerds tend to dig Star Trek and generally nerds are pretty smart. Definitely IQ smart anyway.
Further to that, the real gist of the article was "we can't find any real connections" and the Star Trek thing was just a good headline and an interesting anomaly but certainly not an "all pedophiles like Star Trek" statement.
