Calgary; Inbred capital of Canada

I regularly listen to syndicated satirical radio personality, Phil Hendrie, based out of L.A. on the internet. I was shocked to hear earlier this week to hear him say the Canadian equivalent to inbred places in the U.S. like Mississippi or Arkansas would be a hick place in Alberta called Calgary. Ouch!

Meh. After being to several large US/Canadian cities, I found myself to be a whole lot more 'redneck', than the local Washington/Montreal/Ottawa crowd, for whatever it's worth. We definitely have a 'rural feel' to our urbanites.
