Default Bumper Repair

This morning I got into a minor fender bender and was wondering if the CP braintrust could give me an idea of how much its going to cost. I was parking my truck and pulled in to close to another vehicle, slightly scraping the side of the front bumper. There's no dent or anything, just a few white marks from my trucks paint. I tried buffing them out, and although they did fade a little, they're still there.

Being an honest fellow I left a note with my name and number, but I'm a poor student so I'm also worried I'm going to be eating ramen this month so I can pay for this guys bumper.

Also if anyone knows of a good repair shop in the Vancouver area I'd appreciate it.

"Here's a crazy idea, don't go to a body shop!"

Seriously though, I would try Micro Paint Systems, http://www.micropaint.ca/

Probably looking at a couple hundred bucks at the most if it's just a scuff

Similar thing happened to me too, got out of my car in a parking lot and the wind ripped the door right out of my hand and smashed it into their car.

And it wasn't just me leaving a note, we talked and everything. They never called back.

Their car was a bit of a junker though, maybe that's why.

If there truly is no body damage, it should polish out. Find a good detailer, and get the car polished and sealed. Youre looking at a few hundred bucks for that.

I had a similar incident during the summer. As I was backing up from the parking lot, I noticed another car backing up as well. So I stopped and before I could put it back to drive, she scrapped the side of my car.

I ended up not getting her # (which I probably should, not because of the damage she cause but because she was pretty damn cute, LOL.) All my car had was a few paint marks from her car while her driver side door basically had a huge a$$ dent in it.

All my coworkers told me I should have gotten her info and made her pay for the damage, but I just couldn't do it, she looked like she was straight outta high school and was just going to college or something. Also, I am way too nice when there's a cute girl involved. Haha.
