I really enjoyed either 395 or 399. It was sci-fi/fantasy when I took it. We read HP Lovecraft, Alice in Wonderland, Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, Bone and a Fables one-shot. 1001 nights I think it was called.
Great course. A lot of reading though.
The usual ones I suggest are Astr 205, Geology 205 (205? not sure. Had a youngish american woman teaching with an Italian last name. Easy, easy).
I thought one of the Roman courses I took with Nielson (sp?) was relatively easy. It covered from about 500bc to 500 ad of the Roman Republic/Empire.
Depends on whether you want MC or essays or whathaveyou. Some people would rather take Astr 205 or Econ 201 than Eng or Poli Sci because there are just exams and not a lot of papers or anything. Depends on what you like.
And of course any course is completely dependent on the prof. When I took Geography 2?? it was supposed to be the easiest course ever. Then we took the 1st midterm and the class average was like 60%. And of the 413 kids in my class there were no Geography majors but the prof didn't care. He seemed to think we were all 4th years and should be tested like it. I think he was just mad that one of his prof counterparts who taught the same course was making it too easy, so he was punishing all us slackers that took it was an easy A option.
