Colby Armstrong continues to impress in a Predators uniform with a three point night tonight. Daymond Langkow scored a hat trick though and the Preds win big - 6-1 over the Panthers. All around a good effort from the team in this one.
With the Kings and Stars losing tonight, it was the perfect opportunity for us to gain some ground in the division, however since we had won 3 coming into this game, of course we would lose.

Clemmensen pulls off a 38 save performance. Miller was first star with 2 goals. 3 game winless skid is over however we're right back at it tomorrow night against the Devils for the 3rd time out of the last 5 games. Devils have our number so far in recent games.
The ice cold Sabres pick up a win over the Sens. With the team slumping they went back with some original line sets and it seemed to pay off, in particular 2nd liners Stajan and Lupul played well to pace Buffalo, JS Giguere with another win adding to a growing goaltender controversy in Buffalo. Sabres still find themselves 5 ouf of the playoffs due to their 3-6-1 last 10 game record
There is no shame in losing to the leafs these days. Its hard to belirve but the leafs are actually trending upwards these days. Been a couple of solid weeks in a row and were finding ways to get points in almost every game. We may not be the best team out there but if take us for granted . Look for the leafs in 2012 to put a bunch of W's in a sock and start beating other teams with it.
Flames call up 3 AHL dmen and 2 AHL forwards for the Vancouver game to rest his extremely tired team....expected to get thrashed, and somehow held the Canucks to 16 shots on goal and got David Backes suspended for 3 games for butt-ending!
