Calgary Pinball & Arcade Show
www.pincadeshow.com
Oct 1st, 2011
10AM - 10PM
Inglewood Community Hall
1740 24th Ave. SE

Helping spread the word, a local guy has the ball rolling and just put the website online. I'm pitching in by bringing my Addams Family and Terminator 2 pins to the location.
Will be a lot of fun, hope to see a few of you guys out there.

Taking a Track & Field cabinet to a free play weekend seems like you're asking for it to be be beaten to ****. Thanks for linking this, definitely intriguing.

I'll bump this thread a few times this summer, I want to help this dude out and maybe make this an annual event. Just added info about a tourament and a few more games on the list.
Have heard there will also be a Twilight Zone there, great pinball.

If there will be a World Cup '94 Pinball, I'll be there. One of the best Pinball games I played.

Just realized this is going to be in the Fall, my parents will be out west for a stretch then. Thinking I'll take my Dad to this, he is a pinball nut.

I am so down for this! Hopefully there's a lot of turnout and it becomes an annual event.
Maybe he should start a Facebook page for this, just to see how many people are interested. I know a few people who would definitely go.

Exciting to hear! My 10 year old really likes playing pinball machines, but the most pinball action he gets is on his Wii game "Pinball Hall of Fame - Williams Collection" (and most of the machines in that game, I used to play for real... )

best Wii game ever. Taxi, Funhouse, Whirlwind, Pinbot..... I'd love to see an Earthshaker out there, that was my favourite back in the day.

That is a really cool event. I would love to go to something like that.
It seems like the kind of thing where people should show up in clothing from the era of those games too, just to sustain the illusion.

I am trying to build the arcade presence aswell. I will be bringing a bunch of games down. If anyone that has built a really nice MAME machine wants to come down that would be great too.

finally got to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas a few weeks ago. My wrists hurt I played so much. Great time, wish they had more Williams machines though. No Taxi or Whirlwind. Played a ton of Cyclone.

I made another trip to Vegas during the first week of Aug, spent a lot of time at the Pinball Hall of Fame. Love that place. There was a Taxi there my first 2 visits, they must have just got rid of it recently.
Can anyone post this up on the Beyond forums? Don't know much about that place but it does get a lot of local traffic, right?
