Cowen's a tough prospect to give up, especially since he has already earned his way into the show, but this was a good opportunity to upgrade my defense with a guy who has a good cap hit long term. With Erixon, Cowen, and Doherty all poised to jump to my AHL team next year and Murphy waiting in the wings, I felt pretty comfortable moving a D prospect to pick up a forward like Jensen, who we are pretty excited about going forward.
