RIP Harry Morgan
I'm really not old enough to have seen most of his work, but I did see old MASH and Dragnet reruns over the years.

I much prefer the Col Potter episodes of M*A*S*H* to the Col. Blake episodes. Harry Morgan conveyed the seriousness of war much, much better than Maclean Stevenson.
Sad day!

I knew him from MASH and then many years later found the old episodes of Dragnet. It was odd seeing him in that role.
RIP- thanks for all the laughs.

Best appreciated by viewing his early movie work as a heavy in black and whites on Turner Classic.

Norm!
His character was so much better then Henry Blake. The straight Military Commander trying to fit in with the lunatics of the 4077.
RIP Col Potter.

Sad day!
They were both great in their own way.
However, Col. Potter held a special place in my heart. Very saddened by this news, but the guy was old in Season 4.
Thanks Harry, RIP.

Thats Horse Hockey!
RIP to a superb actor who made Col Potter a stern yet warm character that added immensely to the quality of one of the best shows on TV.

the title of M*A*S*H's finale is appropriate here: Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen.
