With tiny waists, perfect bums and endless legs, many would agree that models' bodies often look too flawless to be real. But in the case of H&M, it seems they actually are.
The Swedish retailer was forced to admit today that it used models' heads with computer-generated bodies.
I have to admit this hadn't occurred to me as something that could be done.
Not surprising really, considering how fake many of the pictures in the Hot Women Thread look. The fact that there might have been a woman there before photoshopping seems increasingly irrelevant even before this.
I don't know what everyone is complaining about - this really opens up the modelling field to fatties, peg-legs, humpbacks, etc. - you just need a pleasant face, and they'll give you a body...
So apparently insane amounts of photoshop editing is ok, but we draw the line at completely computer generated bodies. I don't really see what the big deal is, nor do I care.

Until you open up a copy of hustler and come to realize that their lady bits are pixelated because the CGI artist is incompentatn and to make matrers worse, you're staring into the eyes of Rita McNeil

I can tell you - I never noticed the eyes of any Hustler model when I was growing up.

So this is for the online pictures of the swimsuit, right? I like this comment on the article, I think it sums it up nicely:
"Well, if you think about it, it's the same as the use of a mannequins in shops. I personally don't care either way seeing as it's the clothes I look at, not the models. Models are supposed to be "clothes hangers" and though it sounds awful, it's the truth."

Exactly. If they didn't paste a model's face onto the top of the body, it would be just like a mannequin. If they did that though, they'd get complaints about showing headless women in their ads.

On this interesting topic, I did some research this afternoon, and apparently Hustler models do, in fact, have eyes... however they're dead inside, fortunately they still have great jubblies
