Of course Scientology lawyers deny the whole thing.

This woman got free accomodation, food, a personal bodyguard when at port, and a decent salary on a world class cruise ship in the caribbean?!

It hurts me to say this, but thats not abuse- thats a good host!!!

Yeah, and every night Xenu would make an appearance and plow her, or a guy in a Xenu mask.

Stuck for 12 years? I would just use my OT powers to summom one of those DC8 rocket ships and peace out of there.

In all seriousness...from what I know, which isn't a whole lot, Scientology is a nasty cult.

This would be the kind of religious thread where we all get to be on the same side though.

What would you call it?
This thread is going to be a bunch of people bashing a religion.

How on earth do Governments allow a (thin) veneer of religion to enable a group to conduct these crimes?

Big Money and Lawyers... It's what made anonymous' attack on scientology that much more interesting. How do you sue a group that doesn't exist in the same way.

Anyways, I totally though the article title was tongue and cheek comment about a pretend ship... Not a cruise ship that travels around the Bahamas. Man the locals must absolutetly hate it when that ship docks for a couple of days.
