Call from strange number...
Hey guys, I think I just got a call from Pakistan... The country code that came up was 92-234-791-7876. I googled it and a whole bunch of harash or hamash stuff came up.
Anyone else experience this? and what should I do about it?

Well you have two options - you can either pick the phone up and answer or just ignore it.

Aren't they the same, historically? Based on my terrible knowledge of history, weren't Pakistan and India one country at some time? I am sure the only thing that kept them together for that period of time was naan bread.
See, if you had answered your phone, we'd know if what I just said was true or not.

I've experienced a phone call or two in my time. What to do about it?
Well if you want to answer it, pick up phone, press talk and proceed by saying 'hello.' Just talk in a normal voice, no need to yell or scream. When finished your conversation, press end. Put phone down.
If you don't want to answer it, you can 1) let the phone ring until it stops, 2) press ignore.
I know it sounds hard, but you'll get it.

Even weirder, about once a week I get a call from my mom's phone number.
And when I answer it......it's my mom on the other end.
Spooky things, these cell phones.

I had a similar experience to OP about a month ago. A Pakistan number called me 20+ times at various times over the course of a week. I tried everything from screaming at them, politely asking for them to stop calling, to just letting the call stay silent to rack up long distance minutes. In the end making loud sex noises seems to have done the trick.

Call them back repeatedly, breath heavily into the receiver and ask what they're wearing.
